Eden Is Africa
These are my thoughts on the matter...
What we call the continent of Africa today is in fact the biblical land called Eden. And, the "Garden of Eden" or more precisely "The Garden Eastward In Eden" is in fact Northeast Africa.
The Garden of Eden (though perhaps not in its entirety) is very close to The Promised Land.
